supreme court hearing started...
Dear Members,
We are glad to inform all our members that our case is listed in Supreme Court and the hearing started on 14th January., 2001.
Learned Judges of the Hon'ble Supreme Court Justice Lodha and Justice Jain are hearing the bankmen - VRS issue.
On 14th the bankers presented their case and Additional Soliciter General was arguing on behalf of Bankers on 14th and 15th too.
The Lawyers of the retired bankmen & their associations atarted to present their side of the view before the Hon'ble Judges.
The case is part heard and soon it will all be over.
All retirees association including that of ours have their fingers crossed and await for the judgment. There is a unanimous feeling in the minds of the retired bankmen that they were denied 5 year benefit unjustly. Other grievances are also being raised.
We hope for the best.
